We tend to support Filipino films, but do they make us proud or do we cringe and make a quick exit after the film has been shown, feeling like our dirtiest underwear has been shown in public!

i saw lola... it was a well made film... sure it showed the squatters area in malabon but there was something strangely haunting and beautiful about how mendoza shot all of it... it's a very insightful meditation on life in the philippines...
