I don't know exactly the name of these flowers (in the park), but I adore their loveliness. What I noticed here in Melbourne is that most of the flowers are in the hues of purple, pink, violet and deep blues ... Unlike in the Philippines where most of the flowers are red, orange, yellow and those sunny bright colors. Blue and violet colors are used and associated as flowers of the dead - and are seen in the funeral parlors.
And so maybe, these blue flowers make me pensive ... especially when I see them at dusk! They remind me of the funeral parlors ... somehow :)
