HAPPINESS IN PROGRESS

Apparently, Anthony will be one of the top three designers this year and who knows he might get the crown as Miss Project Runway Australia! I'll be delighted! And just like everything in my life these days, this too is still in progress! Tonight is the night! I am just dead tired with all the renovations we are doing in the house - top to bottom! Can you believe it? And all the stuff we have to get rid of to give space to the rooms! Anyway, we are still on the painting stage. Done the re-carpeting, garden re-paving cementing, etc... and deconstruction works.... I don't have a resting place for my drag outfits and paraphernalias! Kever! I will post some photos soon!

DRAG COSTUMES

Not sure yet if it is really true but

a thread is saying that the winner of the

Best in National Costume is

P-A-N-A-M-A !!!

Actually, her costume is sooo drag and very mardi gras-ueqe!

I am not very impressed with

Bianca's national costume but

she carried it so well I think she

should get high marks for it!

My bet is China ...

And the worst one is from Mexico (?)

SHE'S SO SWEET NAMAN

I have just seen the interview of Bianca Manalo and

I think that the girl is just so sweet and being true to her self naman.

Although, these virtues may not be the judging points

for a Miss Universe to win the pageant, it does make us

connect with her being a Filipino, just like

these people in Bahamas ...

If the following criteria were to be used then she would

definitely score high:

BEAUTY

SWEETNESS

CHARM

HONESTY

GRACE

ELEGANCE

But we know that Miss Universe has evolved into being

a woman of POWER and X or SEX FACTOR so the following

unwritten ideals are inherent in the judging

ATTITUDE (fierceness)

AMIABILITY (verging towards flightiness, flirty)

DRAMA QUEEN PERSONALITY

.

So if ever she does not win or make it to the top five man lang,

she has represented the country in a positive light

reminiscint of a DP (dalagang pilipina) ...

She looks like that girl in the painting with the pearl necklace, diva? She's sooo sweet talagahhh!

MOVING ON ...

Today, yesterday and tomorrow

I am in a "moving" state

moving office at work

and preparing our house

so we can move

somewhere else

before the year ends.

Lots of sorting, throwing and heavy lifting involved!
